March 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Dr. Rick McCaslin, professor of Texas History at the University of North Texas and a member of Knox-Corinthian Lodge #851 A.F. & A.M. Professor McCaslin will be lecturing on Freemasons and Texas History in honor of the month of Texas Independence which occurred on March 3, 1836, over 182 years ago. Throughout its history, Freemasons have always been at the forefront of pivotal moments in this history of this state. Many Freemasons who enjoy Texas History are familiar with the Masons that helped shape Texas. However, Freemasonry’s connection to this state is much more than just the famous men who made Texas what it is today. Professor McCaslin will discuss Freemasonry and its influence on the Lone Star State. Come join us!
